Commercial Insurance Inspector- (Detroit, MI.)
About The Position
EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors who possess excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards. This role involves working from your own home or office and servicing onsite survey/inspection assignments in the Detroit, MI area, and other locations within approximately 100 miles of Detroit. Risk Control Inspectors evaluate businesses to identify hazards and improve safety, thereby mitigating risks for insurance company clients. The types of businesses surveyed include commercial operations such as retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction jobsites, churches, and schools. Most surveys focus on assessing the business for Property and General Liability coverage, but also service other commercial insurance lines of business including Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk.
