About The Position

Commercial Lines Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This is a remote position with occasional in-office requirements (once a quarter) for candidates within driving distance of the location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, particularly in the insurance industry, and a proven ability to manage large accounts effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a boutique agency that provides access to a wide range of carriers and fosters professional growth. Compensation Package Salary Range : Up to $100,000 annually + profit-sharing bonus opportunities & percentage of agency commission on assigned book Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Minimum of 5+ years in commercial lines account management, preferably with large market experience
  • Proficiency in EPIC software is essential
  • Familiarity with generalist accounts, with a strong emphasis on condos and properties
  • Must reside within driving distance of MD, DC, PA, NJ, or DE for quarterly in-office meetings

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a focus on condos and properties
  • Handle general account servicing, including quoting new and renewal business
  • Provide exceptional client experience and maintain strong client relationships
  • Utilize EPIC software for account management and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless claims processing and certificate of insurance (COI) management
  • Contribute to the growth and retention of the agency's book of business
