About The Position

The Commercial Insulator Supervisory Foreman/Manager will plan, organize, and supervise all activities related to commercial and industrial insulation projects. This includes scheduling crews, managing workflow, overseeing installations, conducting site inspections, and maintaining strong communication with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate has deep field expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial insulation, including at least 2 years in a supervisory, foreman, or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities with experience overseeing crews and multiple job sites.
  • Solid understanding of insulation materials, installation methods, safety procedures, and mechanical system components.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, digital reporting systems, and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of insulation projects from mobilization through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring work stays on track with deadlines.
  • Manage project budgets, manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
  • Lead and supervise insulation crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality workmanship.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to confirm requirements and resolve issues.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Assist with material planning, ordering, and coordination with suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and documentation as required.
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure full compliance with OSHA and industry regulations.
