About The Position

Role Overview: Oversees and manages field operations for commercial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and electrical codes. Acting as the key link between project management and field staff, the Foreman ensures the successful execution of day-to-day operations on site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial electrical installation, maintenance, or repair; prior supervisory or foreman experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in commercial required.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and crews in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial or military base experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct electrical crews in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, transformers, and power distribution systems.
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to project schedules.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate layout and installation.
  • Plan, schedule, and organize crew assignments and material deliveries to meet project deadlines.
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project plans and electrical codes.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate electricians and apprentices to develop their skills and maintain high performance standards.
  • Track job progress, manage materials and tools, and communicate updates or issues to project management.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolving field conflicts efficiently.
