About The Position

Allcon Roofing is hiring a Commercial Roofing Estimator to support our expanding operations across the Southeast. This role is based in the Upstate and is ideal for someone with direct construction industry experience--specifically in commercial roofing. We are seeking a candidate who understands the nuances of roofing systems, jobsite conditions, and construction timelines. As a key member of our estimating team, you'll prepare accurate, competitive bids and collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment from pricing to project execution.

Requirements

5+ years of experience estimating commercial roofing projects
Background in construction, roofing, or a closely related trade
Strong knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, and coatings
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
Proficiency with estimating platforms (JobBoss, The EDGE, Bluebeam, or similar)
Excellent math, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and client-facing professionalism
Organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Understanding of building codes, OSHA standards, and industry best practices
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Review specifications, plans, and scopes of work for commercial roofing projects
Conduct site visits and assessments as needed to evaluate project conditions
Perform material takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates
Utilize estimating software (e.g., JobBoss, The EDGE, or similar)
Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes
Prepare professional bid proposals and support pre-bid activities
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure accurate handoff
Maintain clear records of estimates, bid documents, and communications
Assist in drawing review and contribute to project planning discussions
