The hotel provides an urban, resort-style experience with thoughtful Four Seasons service. The hotel is seeking a Commercial Director to join its dynamic Sales & Marketing Team. This role is a key member of the Hotel Leadership team, involved in shaping strategic and operational decisions, and requires remarkable talent and enthusiasm for sales and marketing, coupled with strategic foresight and a proven track record.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years previous employment in a related position
  • Work authorization for employment in the United States is required
  • Good communication and customer contact skills
  • Strong revenue and budget management skills
  • Creative flair for marketing
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate effective leadership

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Marketing is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Sales, Catering, Conference Planning, Public Relations and Revenue Management teams in the hotel
  • Ensure that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenues
  • Direct and oversee all sales and commercial activities with the support of teams including: Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Public Relations, Marketing Communications and Revenue Management
  • Ensure that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied as well as in all of the Hotel’s outlets
  • Develop the local Hotel brand and narrative including the Hotel positioning in the market, the storytelling and subsequent programming
  • Execute and effectively communicate strategies and tactics employed to all key stakeholders, including Ownership, the Hotel team and our Corporate Office
