We are looking for a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our Myrtle Beach-based team. As a Superintendent, you will oversee daily operations on the job site, ensuring all construction activities comply with the project's specifications, safety protocols, and deadlines. This is a leadership role with the opportunity to directly influence the success of our projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple contractors while fostering clear communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges as they arise.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations, ensuring that the project adheres to timelines, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure efficient collaboration on site.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work to verify that it meets architectural and engineering specifications.
  • Enforce and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, discrepancies, or unforeseen challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, equipment records, and personnel reports, to ensure accountability and track progress.
