About The Position
Premier Exteriors is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator with experience in stucco and exterior cladding systems. This role is responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and supporting bids through contract award.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Ability to prepare bids through contract award
- Proficiency with Excel and construction estimating software
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and safety requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Nice To Haves
- Experience estimating stucco, siding, and exterior cladding systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets
- Analyze labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor pricing
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value-engineering opportunities
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Prepare and submit bid proposals on time
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions
- Maintain and update estimate data throughout the bidding process
