About The Position

We are seeking multiple motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Co-ops to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the specialty chemicals industry, specifically with Lubricants and Lubricant Additives Industries (LAB). This role will work with Product Management, Supply Chain Management and/or Business Development, working on impactful projects that drive cost savings, identify new market opportunities and enhance internal chemical asset and financial performance.   Support Product Management in analyzing product performance, strategies and market trends. Assist Supply Chain Management with inventory optimization, cost-reduction initiatives and monthly reporting. Collaborate with Business Development to research and evaluate growth opportunities in emerging markets. Prepare and maintain monthly performance reports on chemical assets and financial metrics. Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and profitability. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and recommend actionable insights. Contribute to presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a higher education sponsored Co-Op program and pursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines:  Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management or another closely related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.  Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A go-getter attitude with curiosity to learn about the business side of specialty chemicals.

Responsibilities
