About The Position

The Commercial Banker plays a pivotal role in driving the financial growth and stability of the bank by managing and expanding a portfolio of commercial clients. The role requires a deep understanding of credit analysis, commercial lending, and bank products to structure loans and financial services that align with client goals. The Commercial Banker acts as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships through personal trust and consistent service excellence while representing the bank in our local community with active participation in community affairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lending.
• Strong credit analytical skills with proven experience in loan portfolio management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking customers to understand their financial needs and objectives.
• Analyze creditworthiness and financial statements to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.
• Structure, negotiate, and close commercial loans in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and monitor a diverse loan portfolio to ensure asset quality and timely repayment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive bank products and services that support customer growth and satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the commercial banking services.
