About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Auto Adjuster BI/PD to join our dynamic team. Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in auto claims handling, with a focus on bodily injury (BI) and property damage (PD) claims.
• Appropriate state adjuster license(s) required, or the ability to obtain licensing within a specified timeframe.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with claims management software and MS Office Suite.
• Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive or emotional situations.
• Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust commercial auto liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage.
• Review and analyze policy contracts, medical records, statements, and other documentation to determine coverage and assess claim validity.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves for claims and manage files to successful resolution.
• Work collaboratively with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, repair shops, and medical professionals to gather all relevant facts.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Document all case activity accurately in compliance with company procedures and industry best practices.
• Stay informed of state/national compliance standards and relevant legal changes affecting claims handling.
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment by valuing diverse perspectives and treating all individuals with respect.
