About The Position

Conexiom is expanding its commercial sales organization globally. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will report to the Director of Sales. You will take responsibility for territory planning and prospect development. You will own and run the sales process end-to-end for both existing and net new customers, supported by the business development team and the pre-sales solution consulting team, as well as other Conexiom resources as required. Think of yourself as the quarterback who calls the plays for the sales cycle, bringing in the required players to succeed.

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B Enterprise SaaS or Software business application sales
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic selling methodologies – able to challenge the status quo within prospects
  • Prior in-depth experience engaging with similar markets to those which Conexiom serves: Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics
  • Strong pipeline development skills
  • Proven ability to drive sales cycles forward, or qualify out
  • Experience negotiating SaaS/ARR contracts
  • Tenacity to “close” the deal
  • Previous experience landing both new logos as well as expanding existing accounts
  • History of accurate pipeline hygiene and forecasting to executive management
  • Lifelong learner mentality and growth mindset
  • Home office set-up – the ability to self-manage time and priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for ERP, eCommerce, EDI, RPA, Document Automation, Workflow, Supply Chain, MES or similar software experience

Responsibilities

  • Research, evaluate, and strategize with the Director on your assigned territory
  • Target new logos to penetrate with the support of your Business Development Team
  • Utilize a strategic selling approach to conduct discovery meetings and solution presentations to Midmarket accounts
  • Understand prospective customer issues and build a consensus for change based upon business value creation on a multi-stakeholder basis
  • Know when to bring in other Conexiom resources in order to win
  • Own both the “land” as well as the “expand” sales cycles within assigned target accounts
  • Become an expert on the Conexiom solution
  • Negotiate sales contracts and “close”
  • Provide feedback to the Director and the Product group regarding market needs and requirements
