About The Position

The Command Center Security Officers act as an instrument of Corporate Security in the execution of Security, Safety and Company policies. This is accomplished through an impartial and consistently cooperative effort on behalf of uniformed employees and security management. As a Command Center Officer, you will:

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV and access control systems across Westgate Smoky Mountain Property and other regional properties
Act as the communication lead and point of contact between response personnel and Senior Leadership
Provide accurate information during critical and non-critical emergency events from report to resolution
Provide constant informational updates wherever applicable to ensure situation, events, incidents are resolved in an appropriate manner
Update and maintain accurate attendance, communication, and reporting logs
Assist in researching past incidents and helping compile requested footage.
Provide situational awareness of issues occurring throughout all locations by monitoring systems, news media reporting and establish inter-group communication with other support elements
Utilize geographic information systems to ascertain potential risk and incidents that occur in the vicinity of the company’s assets
Provide the initial or secondary response to all incidents involving police, fire department and medical personnel
Maintain a uniformed security presence at specified company interests
Manage entry and exit control points at designated properties
Conduct safety inspections as directed by policy and established procedure
Maintain individual Security activity records, checklists and logs
Write detailed and accurate incident reports using computer software and emails
Respond to basic service requests and perform preventative maintenance on the electronic guest room security system and in-room electronic safes if applicable
Perform lost and found inventory control tasks
Perform traffic control and parking enforcement duties as required
Respond to any security-related complaints and take appropriate actions
Assist Westgate Security personnel in the performance of their duties as requested and/or required
Perform key control and accounting duties
Perform any other task, requested by management, within the scope of corporate policy
