About The Position

FGCI, a leading distributor of composite materials, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing production team! What You’ll Do As a Color Match Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are prepared, mixed, and packaged accurately and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include:

Requirements

• Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 50 lbs. throughout the work shift
• Willingness to work overtime and some Saturdays when needed
• Ability to update or create documentation when procedures change

Nice To Haves

• Experience in color matching or composite materials (a plus, but not required)

Responsibilities

• Filling containers with designated materials according to production schedules
• Ensuring all packages are properly sealed and secured
• Adjusting pouring stations for efficient product flow
• Assisting with general labor tasks across the production floor
• Supporting timely, high-quality production
• Working with formulas and pigments to color-match samples
• Combining colors for gelcoat and paint products using industrial mixers
• Performing batch quality control and making adjustments as needed
• Preparing and documenting formulas for custom colors
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Performing other related duties as assigned
