About The Position

As a College Promotional Sales Representative, you will represent Balfour & Co. at on-campus events, helping students place their graduation orders and promoting our products. You’ll be the friendly, professional face of our brand during these milestone moments.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of sales or customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Comfortable using iPads and mobile internet tools
• Professional, well-groomed appearance
• Outgoing, reliable, and self-motivated
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the event
• Must be comfortable speaking to large groups
• Punctual, organized, and dependable
• Must follow the required business casual dress code and be able to wear a neutral-colored mask if needed
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Regional travel is required.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to travel to NYC and New Jersey is a plus

Responsibilities

• Engage with groups of students to share Balfour’s product offerings
• Assist customers with placing orders using iPads and other tech tools
• Set up, organize, and break down displays at event sites
• Achieve sales goals during campus events
• Build positive relationships with college staff and bookstore partners
• Submit orders accurately and report event results to management
• Distribute promotional signage on campus
