About The Position

St. Luke's University Health Network is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education for healthcare providers, and improving access to care. This position is based at the College of Health Sciences and focuses on providing primary Desktop, Device, and Applications support. The College Applications and Field Support Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting information technology users and hardware within the College of Health Sciences, including the operation and maintenance of computer-assisted simulation technology.

Requirements

  • A computer science or electronic technology major in Bachelor or Associate degree program.
  • Experience in solving hardware problems and/or previous computer operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides first-level troubleshooting support for PC hardware failures for College administrators, faculty, staff and students.
  • Provides first-level support for network simulation technology.
  • Provides first-level support for wireless networking.
  • Maintains working knowledge of standard software for the PC's in the College, especially Microsoft Windows and Office and working knowledge of computerized patient models in the simulation lab.
  • Instructs PC users in equipment and program functions.
  • Communicates with vendor(s) through Information Services, as directed.
  • Develops long range plan for computer services including hardware/software for the College.
  • Collaborates on implementation of the approved plan for computer services for the College including faculty, staff, and students.
