Work Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay starts at $29 and increases by years of applicable experience. The Senior Applications Support Analyst provides mentoring to Application Support staff and promotes team concept. Possesses and maintains a broad knowledge of healthcare information systems and applications. Utilizes analytic skills and experiences to investigate and resolve or escalate support issues. Conducts, supervises and monitors training sessions. Acts as a liaison to assigned leaders and departments as well as providers in order to facilitate optimal use of applications. Researches, analyzes and makes recommendations for application workflow improvements. Establishes and documents standard operating procedures. Monitors the creation and maintenance of support documentation or on-line training courses. Performs installation, conversion, and maintenance of healthcare information system and applications. Works with outside vendors. Works with project leaders using project management principles to achieve specific outcomes. Reports up to date project status to leadership regularly. Resolves technical and functional application issues using analytical skills. Creates and analyzes reports created using various reporting mechanisms. Skillful and flexible at managing change. Project management, critical thinking, problem solving and strong communication skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as strong presentation techniques required. Experienced with MS Office software suite. Willing to travel to off-site facilities and training/certification sessions. Advanced knowledge of specific application components. Demonstrates basic knowledge and support of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) philosophies in daily work. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Area of focus in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field preferred.
  • Three years of relevant experience in application support, hardware or interface preferred.
  • Project management, critical thinking, problem solving and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as strong presentation techniques required.
  • Experienced with MS Office software suite.
  • Willing to travel to off-site facilities and training/certification sessions.
  • Advanced knowledge of specific application components.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OnBase or RightFax highly preferred.
  • If applicable, Information Technology (IT) certification must be obtained within six months of date of hire and within three attempts of certification testing.
