About The Position

Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Collections Supervisor to work as part of our SeaTac-based team. In this role, you will supervise a team of Collection Specialists, support the Credit & Collections Manager, and work directly with Lynden sister company controllers and senior management on key accounts. This position is not safety sensitive. The Team The Lynden Credit & Collections team operates in a shared services environment. We handle customer accounts across 18 Lynden sister companies, collaborating with employees across departments and sister companies, as well as customers. Our team works closely with Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Sales, and Controllers to ensure a positive experience for our customers. This is a unique position to learn about the wide variety of industries and geographies served by all Lynden companies. Requirements

  • 5 years credit & collections experience.
  • 2 years of managerial experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Transportation experience a plus.
  • Workday ERP software and shared service experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor collection specialists.
  • Maintain department accountability through various collection metrics, quarterly reviews, and escalation meetings with Lynden sister companies.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure timely collection on assigned accounts.
  • Work with specialists to improve processes, create efficiencies and develop best practices.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with customers in collaboration with Lynden sister companies.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and manage related projects.
