Requirements

Strong customer service background coupled with excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and AIA
Highly organized, self-motivated, with a positive attitude
Associates Degree in Business or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in credit and collections within a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Lead collection efforts by contacting customers about overdue payments and executing timely collection activities
Manage customer account statuses, adding or releasing blocks as needed
Coordinate with third-party collection agencies and provide necessary documentation
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure customer accounts are accurate
Generate reports on open disputes and follow up on resolution statuses
Process customer credit card payments and provide backup documentation for invoice payments
Participate in monthly accounts receivable meetings with sales and credit teams
