The Collections Specialist I is responsible for collecting delinquent payments and providing member service regarding collection issues. Additional duties include performing various administrative tasks vital to the day-to-day function of the department. This role involves locating and advising members of delinquent loans, including student loans, by telephone and/or mail and requesting payment. The specialist also services the needs of members who place inbound calls to the department, assists the department with various administrative tasks, and provides support with end-of-the-month reporting.
