About The Position

The Collections & Project Coordinator serves as a liaison between Dobson and the customer to whom the service is rendered and oversees projects for development of the Call Center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven experience as a Collection Specialist
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Skilled in negotiation
  • Patience and ability to manage stress.
  • At least five years of related experience required, with prior project management experience.
  • Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets.
  • Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels.
  • Influential relationships skills at all.
  • Able to use these relationships to deliver service improvements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Proactively monitor the accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
  • Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect or negotiate a payment plan to collect.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
  • Update account status records and collection efforts.
  • Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
  • Utilize all applications to perform tasks to notify customer base on status of their accounts.
  • Performing quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Content writer on policy and procedures within the Call Center Billing System.
  • Assist in efforts to train and up-skill Call Center Employees.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports.
  • Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.
  • Organize and create accurate timelines.
  • Keep open communication and form working relationships between departments.
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.
