About The Position

RNR Tire Express is seeking a full-time Collection Specialist with excellent customer service skills. This role involves maintaining customer relationships, primarily through phone and computer work, to renew customer agreements and facilitate prompt payments. Responsibilities include reviewing applications for renewal opportunities, contacting customers regarding expired agreements, and following up with references. The specialist will also assist in resolving issues, scheduling merchandise turn-ins, and conducting field visits for product pickup and door hangers. The ideal candidate will possess patience, tact, and strong multitasking abilities to handle challenging situations and meet weekly goals in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. RNR Tire Express is a national franchise retailer of quality tires and custom wheels, established in 2000 with over 200 locations. The company prides itself on a culture of serving customers and empowering employees with training and tools.

Requirements

  • Experience as a rental agent, account executive, account manager, account collection, or rent-to-own
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Professional communication skills in English
  • Strong computer and phone skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Recognize and create opportunities to renew customer agreements by looking over applications
  • Provide excellent customer service while making phone calls to customers regarding expired agreements
  • Make phone calls to references on expired accounts
  • Assist in resolving issues to facilitate renewal and prompt payment as necessary
  • Schedule voluntary turn-ins of merchandise
  • Go out into the field to pick up product and do door hangers
  • Handle challenging opportunities quickly while providing top-notch customer service
  • Multitask while managing the pace of a call and keeping focused on the customer to meet weekly goals
