About your role: As a Collection Services Specialist , you will be responsible for contacting the proper party (manually or via automatic dialing system), describing the debt and soliciting payment arrangements for the account in compliance with applicable regulations and established policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months collections or call center experience.
  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of collections regulations including to Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

Responsibilities

  • Work to establish rapport to overcome objections and negotiate payment of the debt.
  • Detail all discussions and actions in the collections system or database, confirm payment and finalize the call.
  • Ensure successful and timely completion of assigned cases.
  • Clearly detail issues for resolution.
