About The Position

The Cold Pack Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the production and quality control of cold pack products within a manufacturing or distribution facility. This position ensures that all cold pack operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The supervisor leads a team of production workers, coordinating schedules, training staff, and monitoring workflow to meet production targets. They are responsible for maintaining equipment functionality and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Ultimately, the Cold Pack Supervisor ensures that high-quality products are delivered on time to meet customer demands while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role.
  • Basic knowledge of cold pack products and production processes.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in manufacturing management, industrial technology, or related field.
  • Experience working in cold chain or temperature-sensitive product manufacturing.
  • Certification in workplace safety (e.g., OSHA 10 or 30-hour training).
  • Proficiency with production management software and inventory control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of cold pack production lines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Manage and train production staff, providing guidance and support to optimize team performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on output, quality metrics, and workforce performance.
  • Implement and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production area.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule routine equipment maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality.
