Timken Aurora Bearing Company is seeking a Pack & Ship Operator that will perform a variety of functions within our Shipping & Receiving department while adhering to the safety, quality and productivity standards of Timken Aurora Bearing Company.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary or trades / technical education and certifications preferred
Mechanical aptitude and shop math competencies
Strong ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
Strong ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, suppliers, and plant leadership

Responsibilities

Clean parts in the proper manner, by bath, wiping or scraping.
Apply the proper lubricant by injection, bath or hand application.
Inspect for any product defects such as cracks, bad plating, damage or any other irregularity.
Assure correct part number, assemble packaging and package in the appropriate container.
Prepare and attach proper labeling.
Install press fit or threaded fittings into appropriate parts.
Assemble linkages and check for print conformity.
Operate departmental machines including but not limited to: aqueous washer, de-magnetizer and greaser.
Take stock finished goods cage.
Assist in maintaining real time inventory.
Perform duties associated with the inkjet marking operation

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $17.50 -$19.33 per hour and is commensurate on experience and education.
