About The Position

Manage all aspects of Variety Pack operation including: efficient operation and scheduling of production lines, supervising all employees, order fulfillment, safety and training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years Supervisory and Warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to prioritize objectives, while being hands-on to ensure the job is done
  • Proficient in Word/Excel, BPCS/ERPLX

Responsibilities

  • Oversee product movement of raw materials, components and finished product in all buildings (Into and out of) daily. Review with Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Managers weekly or as needed.
  • Responsible for Daily cycle counting as assigned by the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Managers. Counts to include: physical counts, updating spreadsheets, analyzing variances and recounts as necessary.
  • Work with our partners (Captec) to stem issues as they arrive.
  • Work with QC in place to verify correct data and product is up to standards
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and ready for the next shift.
  • Understand and follow “Item Shipping Status” and what each means. To educate the employees of these status’ and how they affect loading.
  • Management of production for all lines
  • Direct supervision of operators and foremen
  • Staffing positions in production
  • Follow all company guidelines in safety and manufacturing
  • Technical ability to understand all equipment and be capable of working with Maintenance staff to effect repairs necessary to support continuous production
  • Effectively communicate with Customer Service & Plant Manager, Warehouse and Distribution personnel to ensure flawless customer fulfillment
  • Training of all personnel for job and safety requirements
  • Responsible for assistance with year-end inventory
  • The Warehouse Variety Pack Supervisor must understand the company’s commitment to food safety, quality, and continuous improvement as outlined in the Adirondack Beverages Safety and Quality Policy and understand the responsibility for carrying out the outlined principles as an expectation of the job.
  • Must understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and to ensure GMP compliance of fellow employees.
  • Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality
