About The Position

Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables and services. Manage daily activities resulting in continuous efficiency and process improvements. Properly load delivery truck, trailer or customer vehicle. Use a combination of forklift vehicle, overhead crane and manual labor to perform tasks. Fill orders per shipping documents according to size, amount and weight and stage material at appropriate bay area. Accurately and efficiently assemble and package work orders. Keep production mills supplied with raw materials to prevent work stoppages. Receive and unload incoming material from vendor trucks. Complete required administrative reports. Maintain accurate coil inventory. Assist in cycle counts. Assist in the movement of parts within and among workstations and work areas. Perform safety inspections on all forklift vehicles, overhead cranes and yard trucks. Comply with all safety requirements and use all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE). Clean work area daily and perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to become certified to operate forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
