JOB SUMMARY: The Trim Coil Operator/Material Handler assists the Trim Coil Lead and the Trim Coil Operators to ensure that the production schedule is followed and that quality standards are met. POSITION HOURS: Monday through Thursday from 7AM to 5:30PM, with additional hours on Fridays as needed based on production requirements.

Responsibilities

Review the production schedule for needed material and supplies
Review the production schedule to determine if any "partial" finished goods containers exist
Pull and stage metal and supplies for the production lines
Load coils onto production machines
Store finished goods in their proper location
Provide relief to stackers, operators, and lead for breaks and lunch breaks
Cover vacations and absences for all trim positions
Ensure the department runs efficiently by maintaining clean and orderly work areas and keeping an adequate supply of all materials and inventory
Assist Trim Lead in training new employees
Participate in safety and other training programs as required
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
