Job Duties: Diagnose and repair GE and Siemens MRI RF coils (head, spine, body, extremity coils, etc.) Perform electrical, mechanical, and RF troubleshooting on coils Test repaired coils to ensure OEM performance standards Maintain accurate service records and documentation Collaborate with MRI technologists and biomedical staff to minimize downtime Assist with preventive maintenance and inventory management for coils Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience repairing GE and Siemens MRI coils BMET certification or equivalent biomedical engineering background Experience with multiple coil types, including phased-array coils Familiarity with MRI system integration and safety standards Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read schematics and perform detailed diagnostic work Strong understanding of RF electronics, coil circuitry, and signal integrity Experience with coil testing equipment and QA procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements: This position requires standing for potentially long periods of time. May be required to occasionally lift 50 lbs. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
