Job Summary: Assists developing plans for benefits, wellness, rewards and recognition processes, polices and programs. Works closely with other organizational leaders and with Regional/Facility Human Resources (HR) teams to assess benefits priorities and ensure alignment between the benefits program and the organization's strategy and values. Collaborates with multiple operations, technology and HR partners to implement changes to existing plans, roll out new plans and monitor the impact of plans. Requires occasional travel. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Bachelor's degree with coursework in human resources: Preferred Three years of evaluating and designing benefits programs, including selecting and monitoring impact metrics: Required Licenses/Certifications: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP): Preferred Essential Functions: Assists with the design of benefits, rewards and recognition programs, policies and procedures. Benchmarks to determine leading practices. Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory updates as they relate to employee benefits. Uses quantitative/qualitative measures to ascertain the effectiveness of current programs and to forecast the impact of proposed programs. Works on problems of moderate to diverse scope requiring some interpretation of policies and guidelines. Deploys benefits related programs, policies and procedures. Manages the implementation of revised or new programs. Anticipates issues, mitigate risks and resolves problems. Monitors programs against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Solves and escalates operational problems and technical issues; modifies existing tools or processes. Coordinates with partners on Open Enrollment communication tools, staff training and Human Resources (HR) system configuration to ensure a smooth experience for employees. Responds promptly, accurately, and with a high degree of customer service for escalated benefits issues. Conducts a post-Open Enrollment review, capturing successes and opportunities for improvement with partners. Makes decisions regarding own work, sometimes in ambiguous situations. Identifies process and procedure improvement opportunities. Participates in audits of the Contact Center and oversees HR Operations records related to Benefits to uncover risks, access opportunities for training, enhance the knowledge base and to identify successes. Serves on teams planning and implementing continuous improvement of processes and the customer experience. Partners with Regional/Facility HR to develop Regional/Facility specific benefits, wellness, and rewards and recognition programs. Works under general supervision. Requirements
