Coating Supervisor
About The Position
Tarkett Sports and FieldTurf, a world leader in sports construction and surfacing, is seeking a night shift Coating Supervisor. FieldTurf specializes in artificial turf with over 25,000 installations globally, trusted by NFL, MLS, collegiate, and community venues. The Coating Supervisor will direct and manage coating operations, with overall responsibilities for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, demonstrating a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This role is based out of the Calhoun, GA Office and reports to the Coating Manager. The shift is 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Thursday. Tarkett Sports, encompassing brands like FieldTurf, Beynon Sports, and GrassMaster, is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit to innovate and reshape the sports surfacing industry, with over 80,000 installations worldwide and over 25 years of experience. Requirements
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Interpersonal skills and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have proven leadership skills

Responsibilities
- Drive production, review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
- Drive operational excellence and profitability incorporating best practices.
- Guide and develop hourly crew leaders and hourly production associates.
- Review plans and collaborate with engineering and quality to develop new product processes.
- Ensure coating operations and precise controls are maintained.
- Implement cost effective systems.
- Adhere to budget ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives
- Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel
- Provide direction, development and leadership in a high functioning and quick paced environment.
- Prepare and maintain production reports daily, personnel records and employee disciplinary actions
- Attend meetings with a professional demeanor and able to give production reports as needed.
