The coach is directly responsible to the Director of Athletics and Principal. Applicants must be available for duty throughout the season. This will include any tournament for which the team might be eligible. Practice sessions are held daily. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES 1. Teach fundamentals and skills 2. Organize practice sessions 3. Provide for prevention and care of injuries 4. Conform to the rules established by the RIIL 5. Teach rules and regulations of the sport 6. Display good sportsmanship and leadership characteristics 7.Responsible for issuing, maintaining and collecting of equipment 8.Supervision of team members at all times REQUIREMENTS The coach should have a complete knowledge of the sport. Experience at the secondary or college level is desired requisite and previous coaching experience will be strongly considered. 1.
