About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the engineering team to develop targeted electronics design initiatives.
Gather necessary design/electronics requirements and specifications from internal and external customers, and record using the technical assumptions, requirements and specifications (TARS) process.
Communicate progress on work assignments and issue resolution to the engineering team / Engineering Manager.
Support all necessary internal and supplier meetings, including technical reviews, cross functional team (CFT), packaging, DFMEA, quality, change control, program management team (PMT), builds, teardowns, etc.
Comply with and enforce the PKC Group Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.
Comply with the environmental work instructions applicable to their job position.
Report any deviation on the environmental operational controls established and communicate improvement initiatives.
Participate in EHS training.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Pursuing advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant experience in product design (electronics, HV systems, EV battery).
Understanding of design and engineering disciplines such as 8D, DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.
Preferred:
Experience utilizing PCB design software (PADs, Altium, etc.)
Working level experience with 3D Cad software (Pro/Engineer, Catia, NX or other similar).
Experience with Power Distribution Center (PDC) single function electronics design and development.
SKILL / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work productively within a cross-functional team to achieve objectives.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments with high quality and on-time completion.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Typical office environment and conditions. (Sitting and completing work at cubicle a majority of the workday).
Ability to travel to Mexico to visit manufacturing facilities.
Medium physical activity – ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
