About The Position

Danfoss is seeking a 4th Shift CNC Machinist for our Van Wert, OH plant. This role includes setting up machines, gauging, validating programs, and operating machine tools to carry out a sequence of precise, repetitive machining tasks. You will actively contribute to achieving the strategic objectives established by yourself, the facility, and Danfoss. Danfoss is offering up to a $15,000. Sign on Bonus based on CNC verifiable experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Assembly experience required
• Ability to communicate verbally and understand written instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Understands and can explain the 8 types of Waste and 10 Lean Principles

Responsibilities

• Be available to fill in on the line when necessary
• Coordinate and prioritize activities for the team
• Keep information boards up-to-date daily
• Audit colleagues on the line, drive 5S in the area
• Should motivate and support employees throughout the day
