CNC Programmer Job Summary: The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-quality parts. The CNC Programmer works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in machining operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Mastercam and CAM software
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprints
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- 5+ years CNC programming experience
- Advanced Mastercam proficiency
- Experience with CNC milling and turning
- Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to work independently in production environments
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using Mastercam
- Perform setups and support production as needed
- Maintain program and tooling libraries
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
- Implement process improvements and poka-yoke solutions
- Support Lean initiatives and maintain workspace organization
- All other duties as assigned by management.
