About The Position

Hydrasearch, a proud affiliate of The Dixon Group, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in Stevensville, MD! We take pride in manufacturing high-quality, Made in the USA products that serve the U.S. Government, Military, and our allied partners worldwide. In this role, you'll play a key part in programming and optimizing CNC equipment, including vertical and horizontal mills and CNC lathes. You'll write and refine G and M code, create setup sheets for new jobs, and work closely with our Quality Department to ensure compliance with AS9100D standards. Experience with machining castings is a plus. About Us: Hydrasearch is a U.S. manufacturer specializing in fluid-transfer and control systems for maritime, aerospace, and defense applications. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework preferred.
  • Proven experience with both horizontal and vertical mills required.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
  • Skilled in using measuring tools; CMM experience a plus.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented, team-focused, and eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Safely set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using G and M code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming and setup issues.
  • Collaborate with teammates and the Quality Department to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Contribute to process improvements and share knowledge through training and mentoring.
