About The Position

Hydrasearch, a proud affiliate of The Dixon Group, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in Stevensville, MD! We take pride in manufacturing high-quality, Made in the USA products that serve the U.S. Government, Military, and our allied partners worldwide. In this role, you'll play a key part in programming and optimizing CNC equipment, including vertical and horizontal mills and CNC lathes. You'll write and refine G and M code, create setup sheets for new jobs, and work closely with our Quality Department to ensure compliance with AS9100D standards. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework preferred.
Proven experience with both horizontal and vertical mills required.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
Skilled in using measuring tools; CMM experience a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Detail-oriented, team-focused, and eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Safely set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
Develop and optimize CNC programs using G and M code.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming and setup issues.
Collaborate with teammates and the Quality Department to ensure precision and compliance.
Contribute to process improvements and share knowledge through training and mentoring.
