About The Position

At Rustica, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship, innovation, and quality. We’re looking for a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to bring precision and expertise to our custom door production line. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to taking our fabrication processes to the next level. If you have a passion for high-quality woodworking, attention to detail, and experience in CNC programming and operation, we’d love to have you on our team.

Requirements

Prior experience programing and operating a CNC Machine- Mastercam or similar software experience required
Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings
Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office
Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete intermediate mathematical calculations
Ability to write routine reports, operating instruction and correspondence
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to troubleshoot situations in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic, setting
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Willingness to learn and grow while taking on new assignments

Nice To Haves

Prior woodworking experience a plus

Responsibilities

Meet daily, weekly and monthly production objectives by implementing effective processes and procedures
Effectively program and set-up the machine to perform the relevant jobs assigned by engineering
Efficiently translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production
Regularly ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
Oversee the machine during production and ensure the machine is producing the desired results
Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
Plan stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available; anticipate upcoming needs
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions, all under the direction of the maintenance department
