Machine Operator (CNC)
About The Position
Versatile is a fast-paced, high-tech custom manufacturing facility located west of Grand Rapids in Nunica, Michigan. We are a wood products manufacturing company supplying the store fixture, furniture, and architectural millwork industries. Come join the Versatile team, where “We Build it Better.” The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality wood components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- Prior CNC operation experience required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC machines to produce wood components per job orders
- Monitor machines for quality and efficiency, making adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Maintain accurate production records and report issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards
