CNC Milling Machinist - Night Shift
About The Position
Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Our goal is to be regarded as an irreplaceable resource by our customers. The only way for a company to meet such a goal is to consistently meet production deadlines and expectations. Position Description: The CNC Machinist performs complex machine setups on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines. Has G & M code knowledge and is able to run and inspect parts with little to no supervision. This position is for 2nd shift with a 20% differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred
- 3+ years of CNC machine operation
- G & M code understanding
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
- Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Interested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming team to improve operations
Nice To Haves
- HAAS control knowledge a plus
Responsibilities
- Ability to setup and run machines accurately, and efficiently
- Able to read operation sheets and blueprints
- Able to maintain quality standards and accurately measure completed work
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
- Other duties as directed by supervisor
