About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to maintain CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, an eye for detail, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 2nd shift: 2:45 pm -12:45 am, M-TH Job location: Racine, WI Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Requirements

High school diploma or technical certification in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines (HAAS, Mazak, Fanuc, DMG Mori, or similar).
Strong understanding of G-code, CNC controls, and machining principles.
Proficient with precision measurement tools and GD&T.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Interpret technical documents including CAD models, G-code, work instructions, and setup sheets.
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performance.
Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs, and other precision instruments.
Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues related to tooling, programming, or part quality.
Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and quality control logs.
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with engineers and programmers to improve processes and resolve production challenges.
Uphold safety standards and comply with company and industry regulations.
