About The Position

From our cutting-edge facility, we design and manufacture an expanding range of spinal implants and instruments. We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machine Operator to join our award-winning team. Nexxt Spine is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial to ensuring the production of high-quality parts and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• High level of knowledge in tooling.
• Capable of completing frequent set-ups to run a variety of parts.
• Proficient in completing machine probing, indicating fixturing, and performing tool changes.
• Ability to make offsets to produce quality parts.
• Experience running a Wire EDM and auto band saw.
• Experience with Haas Mills – 3/4/5 Axis in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good knowledge of shop tools and machines.
• Self-motivated to produce high-quality parts.
• Team-oriented and capable of working with limited supervision.
• Strong desire to learn.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Great dexterity to work with implants and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and make machine adjustments to produce high quality parts.
• Use inspection equipment including optical comparator, micrometer, calipers, etc.
• Deburr and clean parts for further process steps.
• Clean and maintain the CNC equipment.
• Other duties related to manufacturing.
