CNC Mill/Lathe Operator — Aerospace Manufacturing
About The Position
Build parts that fly Your craftsmanship matters here. From 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, you will turn prints into precision aerospace components inside a climate-controlled facility, following proven quality and safety procedures every step of the way. Your impact Operate CNC mills/lathes safely while producing high-quality parts. Apply basic offsets, change inserts, and keep thorough in-process documentation. Confirm conformance with micrometers, calipers, thread gages, pin gages, bore/height gages, and indicators. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow FOD prevention practices. Communicate production, safety, and quality issues to your supervisor promptly. Collaborate across the shop as needed in deburring, assembly, cleaning, and shipping/receiving. Participate in continuous improvement; follow all quality and safety procedures.
Requirements
- 1+ year of CNC machine operating experience preferred.
- Comfort reading drawings, work instructions, and basic inspection plans.
- Proper use of calibrated measuring tools and gauges.
- Dependable, positive, and team-focused attitude.
