About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Lathe Machinist & CNC Mill & Lathe Operator to join our precision machining team in Southeast Tulsa. This Manual Lathe Machinist & CNC Mill & Lathe Operator role is ideal for an experienced machinist who can independently program and operate both manual and CNC machinery to manufacture parts per specifications.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC/manual machining
Trained in CNC programming and operation (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Proficient in reading blueprints and using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Basic computer skills
Solid foundation in math, geometry, and trigonometry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and CNC machines according to blueprints and technical instructions
Perform general programming and tool selection for each job
Conduct precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
Maintain high workmanship standards while meeting production quotas
Apply advanced machining techniques and mentor less-experienced machinists
Make offsets and edits without supervision
Attend and contribute to R&D design reviews
Keep machines clean and work areas organized
Adhere to all safety-sensitive job requirements
Mentor and support junior machinists and CNC operators
Visualize and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Assist in setting up and operating EDM machinery
Support team goals through collaboration and knowledge sharing
Exercise critical thinking and sound judgment in daily operations
Perform other tasks as assigned
