We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to add to our team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined experience operating and programming CNC machinery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively with cross functional and multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or above in engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium and nickel basedalloys, etc.)
  • Experience with Autodesk Fusion/Solidworks CAM
  • Experience in machining metal additive manufactured parts
  • Experience with Haas Equipment
  • Experience of working in commercial metal AM manufacturing facilities (service bureaus, manufacturing divisions, laboratories, etc.) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machine daily including fixturing, running programs, and maintenance.
  • Use CAD/CAM software to program 3 axis milling machines to machine complex metallicstructures and components. 4th and 5th Axis experience are a bonus.
  • Design complex fixturing.
  • Select tooling and maintain tool library.
  • Support Applications Team (R&D) with DFM (design for manufacturing).
  • Assist with procurement of additional milling/manufacturing equipment.
  • Operate auxiliary manufacturing equipment (bandsaw, furnace, media blast, etc.) while maintaining the shop in a clean and organized condition.
