About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery, programming, and precision measurement techniques. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to fabricate parts efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and programming software.
• Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and creating machining instructions.
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
• Program CNC machines for optimal performance and efficiency.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to ensure product quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Fabricate parts using various power tools and techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production workflows.
