Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience as a CNC machinist with manual machining experience
  • Demonstrated ability to setup and troubleshoot all CNC machines
  • Ability to develop and or improve processes on new or existing parts with a complete understanding of machining fundamentals and practices
  • Ability to use all relevant measurement equipment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English
  • Ability to meet quality and productivity standards
  • Ability to efficiently manage work flow in a work cell structure
  • Ability to read blueprints thoroughly
  • Computer skills, intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work a part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Independently set up and operate all CNC machines
  • Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications
  • Perform stability study on gauges used
  • Load and edit programs as needed
  • Perform initial inspection when needed
  • Troubleshoot any issues
  • Assist CNC operators I and II as needed
  • Assist with process improvement tools, such as DOE
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager
