Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist with strong 5-axis machining skills and hands-on CAM programming capabilities to support precision part manufacturing at our Redmond facility. The ideal candidate will be confident in both machine operation and programming. This is a full-time, permanent, direct employment opportunity with benefits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC machining
  • Proficiency in CAM programming, specifically with Siemens NX
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace or satellite component manufacturing is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision components
  • Generate CAM programs using Siemens NX (or similar software)
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models to guide machining strategy
  • Choose appropriate tools and cutting parameters to meet quality and cycle time requirements
  • Perform in-process inspections and make necessary adjustments
