About The Position

Essential Functions Set up laser cutting or engraving machines by loading material, aligning, and calibrating the laser beam. Adjust machine settings (such as laser speed, intensity, and focal point) based on material type and project requirements. Operate laser machinery to cut, weld, or engrave materials according to technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications. Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, protractors) to verify the accuracy of cuts and engravings. Perform routine maintenance on laser machines, including cleaning lenses, replacing worn parts, and lubricating components. Receiving DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) and using it to guide the laser in cutting or engraving of material Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specifications. 1-3 years of experience operating laser machines in a manufacturing environment (or similar equipment). Understand and apply written and oral instructions Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) Requirements
