CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator
About The Position
The Gund Company Canada has an immediate opening for a full-time CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator to join our team! As a CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator , you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes loading and operating various CNC production machinery and adhering to safety and quality standards. This opening is for our CNC Turret Press . The operator will be required to run other equipment when the lathe is not busy.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with prior hands-on, vocational, or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
- Experience with CNC Lathes or similar equipment.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a custom manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with Mazak lathes or similar equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
