About The Position

Be the engine behind reliable operations Do you thrive on turning requests into well-orchestrated plans? As our CMMS Maintenance Scheduler, you’ll translate work orders into perfectly timed, fully kitted jobs that keep production humming. Why this role matters Maximize uptime by converting non-emergency requests into executable tasks with clear scopes and requirements. Elevate team productivity by maintaining a Ready Backlog at or above 80% and scheduling technicians to 100% of available hours. Strengthen safety and quality by confirming parts, tools, and documentation before work begins. What you’ll tackle Scope jobs: inspect locations, confirm constraints, and define steps for safe, efficient completion. Estimate: labor hours, trade mix/skillsets, materials, parts, and special tools or auxiliary equipment. Kit and verify: gather drawings, schematics, specs, spare parts lists, OEM manuals, equipment histories, and Knowledgebase references; verify parts availability prior to scheduling. Prioritize and plan: organize the backlog, elevate the right work, and continuously improve job plans for accuracy and effectiveness. Facilitate: run weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production; communicate status and adjust to operational priorities. Schedule: issue a Weekly Technician Schedule combining planned work and PM tasks to fully utilize labor hours. Improve: leverage maintenance metrics and review cycles to sharpen planning and scheduling outcomes. Document: maintain records and files to support analysis and reporting. Enable: train site staff on CMMS use and uphold system data integrity.

Requirements

  • Completed an associate degree in a technical discipline, plus 1–3 years of maintenance planning/scheduling; or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician; or an equivalent mix?
  • Worked within an industrial manufacturing environment with strong electrical/mechanical aptitude?
  • Used CMMS and Microsoft Office with ease, and communicated clearly with cross-functional partners?
